JAMMU, July 31 -- Members of various committees of Jagti Migrant Camp on Friday expressed strong anguish over the non-fulfillment of assurances given by the authorities, particularly regarding restoration of regular water supply and pending repair works in the camp.
In a hurriedly convened joint meeting, representatives of all existing organizations in Jagti said the authorities had assured that regular water supply to the camp would be resumed by *30.07.2026*, but the commitment remains unimplemented.
The meeting expressed grave concern over the delay in streamlining roof repairs of camp buildings and renovation of interiors of deteriorated flats.
