SRINAGAR, March 16 -- The Social Welfare departmen organized a mega special awareness programme for senior citizens at Kashmir Haat srinagar under the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana.
The programme aimed to create awareness among senior citizens about various government welfare schemes, pension benefits, healthcare services, and other support facilities available for the elderly.
Renowned social reformer, historian and noted poet Zareef Ahmad Zareef was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad served as the Guest of Honour.
