RAJOURI, Nov. 6 -- In a significant step towards promoting digital governance, transparency and accountability in public service delivery, the Municipal Council Rajouri has introduced face authentication-based attendance marking through the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) for all its staff members, including sanitation workers. The initiative has been taken under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner.
Under the introduced system, employees can now mark their attendance through face authentication using the AadhaarBAS mobile application on their personal mobile devices.
