REASI, May 27 -- Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking under the "Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan", District Police Reasi achieved another success by apprehending a drug peddler and recovering heroin from his possession. On 26.05.2026, Police Station Reasi received reliable information that one person namely Mohd Tariq S/O Ghulam Mohd, Caste Muslim, R/O Jij, Thakrakote, Reasi was travelling in a red coloured Wagon-R car bearing registration No. JK20-8180 from Reasi towards Jyotipuram road near Bada Pathar Mari and was carrying heroin for supplying the same to unknown persons in the nearby area for wrongful gain.
