SAMBA, Aug. 1 -- In a major breakthrough in its sustained campaign against drug trafficking, Samba Police has arrested two lady drug peddlers and recovered approximately 100 grams of heroin-like substance (Chitta) from their possession within the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur.
Acting promptly on reliable information, a police team from Police Station Vijaypur launched a swift operation and intercepted two women pedestrians on Tarapur Road who were moving towards the Vijaypur side under suspicious circumstances. During frisking, approximately 100 grams of heroin-like substance (Chitta) was recovered from their possession.
