LEH, Sept. 17 -- Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena today rolled out the "LG Yuva Internship Programme" in Ladakh, a unique initiative aimed at institutionalising youth participation in Governance. The internship programme provides a structured platform for youth to work with and learn from the government.
Guided by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision that youth are the greatest strength of a Viksit Bharat, this initiative integrates 2,000 youth into 25 different government departments for a 3-month internship, thereby empowering the young minds to become active partners in Ladakh's development, rather than becoming mere beneficiaries.
