KATHUA, July 28 -- In a renewed push to strengthen road safety and enforce traffic discipline, the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD), Kathua, carried out a surprise enforcement drive along the Billawar-Mahanpur road on Tuesday, resulting in action against several motorists for violating traffic regulations. The operation was spearheaded by ARTO Kapil Deol, with Motor Vehicles Inspector (MVI) Rahul and other enforcement officials. A temporary checking point was set up to verify vehicle documents and ensure compliance with provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
