JAMMU, Aug. 14 -- On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, Jammu Division, Northern Railway, with the objective of providing better facilities to passengers and strengthening regional connectivity, is restoring the halt of 6 important trains at Samba Railway Station. These halts will be effective from 15 August 2026.
On this historic occasion, Hon'ble Member of Parliament Lok Sabha, Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma Ji* will be present as the Chief Guest and will flag off Train No. 20434 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Subedarganj Express at 17:26 hrs on 15.08.2026.
Senior officials, staff and local citizens will also be present at the event.
