SRINAGAR, Aug. 24 -- A General Meeting of the Jammu & Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) was held today in Srinagar under the leadership of Forum Chairman Farooq Ahmad Tantray. The meeting discussed various issues confronting teachers as well as important organizational matters.
According to a statement issued by Forum Spokesperson Muzafar Ahmad Wani, the participants strongly condemned the heinous incident involving a minor girl in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar and demanded the strictest possible punishment for the person involved in the crime.
During the meeting, the Forum members expressed serious concern and resentment over the exclusion of Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers from the recently introduced Transfer Policy. They urged ...
