Jammu, Aug. 18 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police have issued a fresh advisory warning citizens against a growing wave of employment-related cyber fraud, in which scammers use fake onboarding forms and bogus verification processes to steal PAN details, bank information, and other sensitive personal data.
According to the advisory, fraudsters typically lure victims with promises of high salaries or remote job opportunities, often announcing "selection" without conducting any genuine interview. Victims are then directed to fake onboarding portals and asked to fill out forms that seek PAN numbers, bank account details, and other confidential documents under the guise of employment formalities.
