JAMMU, June 29 -- Several Residents Welfare Associations of Jammu have appealed to Omar Govt to extend the date for filing objections & comments on the draft J&K Uniform Lease Policy, 2026, and the Draft J& K Rental And Licence Policy, 2026, as residents only learned about the proposed large-scale changes to the existing policy, only on 25th June when the notification was published in the local newspapers as an advertisement.
