JAMMU, July 12 -- In a major crackdown on illegal bovine smuggling, Police Station Bishnah achieved a significant success by rescuing 09 bovine animals and seizing a specially modified tractor-trolley used for their illegal transportation.
During routine patrolling on 12 July 2026, a police team of Police Station Bishnah was conducting area domination on the Ring Road and adjoining areas. At Chak Avtara, Bishnah, the team noticed a tractor-trolley without registration number plates proceeding from Vijaypur towards Jammu.
