JAMMU, Sept. 8 -- Continuing its drive to maintain public order and curb drinking and serving of liquor at public places, Police Station RS Pura has taken prompt action against persons found involved in such activities.
During the operation, Yaspaul @ Bhola, S/o Basakhi Ram, R/o Puro Bhana, RS Pura, was apprehended for allegedly serving liquor at his meat shop. Two other persons, namely Amit Kumar, S/o Basakhi Ram, R/o Puro Bhana, RS Pura, and Sham Lal, S/o Dwarka Nath, R/o Bolari, RS Pura, were apprehended while consuming liquor at the same shop.
Both Amit Kumar and Sham Lal were medically examined and found to be under the influence of liquor. Liquor bottles were also seized from the spot.
