JAMMU, Sept. 9 -- Continuing its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking and the menace of narcotic substances, Jammu Police has apprehended one person and recovered 12.73 grams of suspected heroin/chitta during naka checking in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah.
During routine patrolling and naka checking, a police party of Police Station Bishnah noticed a Swift VDI vehicle bearing registration number JK02BM-8657 approaching the naka. On noticing the police presence, the driver allegedly attempted to turn the vehicle around and evade checking. Acting swiftly, the police party intercepted the vehicle and conducted a search in accordance with law.
