Jammu police acts swiftly, arrests accused and recovers snatched Motorcycle within 12 hours in Bishnah

JAMMU, Sept. 8 -- In a prompt and swift action, Police Station Bishnah solved a snatching case within 12 hours of registration, demonstrating its commitment to public safety and security.

In this regard, FIR No. 166/2026 under Sections 126(2), 115(2) and 304 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Bishnah on 06.09.2026.

Acting promptly on the information received, Police Station Bishnah launched an immediate investigation and arrested the accused, namely Harsh Bharat S/o Gulshan Kumar R/o Laliyana, Tehsil Bishnah.
