JAMMU, July 2 -- The Indian Red Cross Society, J&K actively participated in the National Immunization Day (Pulse Polio Campaign) held on 28th June, 2026 reaffirming its continued commitment towards child health and national public health initiatives. The campaign aims to protect children below the age of five years from the debilitating effects of polio and to sustain India's hard-earned polio-free status.
As part of the campaign, the Indian Red Cross Society established two Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) booths, one at Red Cross Bhawan, Jammu and another at Red Cross Building, Srinagar.
