UDHAMPUR, March 23 -- An intensive course on "Juvenile Justice" commenced today at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur. The programme aims to sensitize the police officers with the legal provisions, procedures, and best practices related to handling cases involving children in conflict with law and children in need of care and protection. The course has been designed to enhance the professional competence of the participants in dealing with juvenile-related cases with child-friendly & reformatory approach in accordance with Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.
