REASI, May 7 -- The Indian Army organized a "Chai Pe Charcha" interaction with Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Widows at Chassana on 07 May 2026. The event provided an open and informal platform for meaningful interaction, allowing participants to share their experiences, concerns and suggestions. Indian Army representatives actively engaged with the attendees, addressing various welfare-related issues and reaffirming their commitment to the well-being of veterans and their families. Special emphasis was placed on creating awareness about government schemes, pension-related matters, healthcare facilities and grievance redressal mechanisms available to ESMs and widows.
