RAJOURI, Feb. 21 -- The Indian Army, through its mobile medical patrol, has extended vital healthcare services to the remote areas of Rajouri district, covering the villages of Ranjiphera, Kadma, Parat and Rugga. These regions, inhabited by Gujjars and Bakkarwals, often face difficulties in accessing mainstream healthcare due to their isolated geographic location and challenging terrain. The mobile patrol, equipped with essential medical supplies, provided on-the-spot medical check-ups, treatment for common ailments and necessary medications.
