Ramban, Aug. 9 -- As part of its continuing humanitarian outreach, the Indian Army conducted a Khairiyat Patrol at village Taragan, Tehsil Khari, Ramban, to assess the welfare, healthcare and essential requirements of local residents, particularly the elderly and economically vulnerable.

During the patrol, an Army medical team carried out basic health check-ups and screened residents for common ailments, including hypertension and joint-related problems. Essential medicines were distributed, while residents were also educated about nutrition, personal hygiene and proper medication practices. Cases requiring further medical attention were identified for follow-up at appropriate healthcare facilities.
