Basantgarh, Oct. 18 -- The Indian Army, under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavana, successfully concluded a two-day Mega Medical Camp at Government Higher Secondary School, Basantgarh, District, Udhampur on 17- 18 October 2026. The initiative aimed to provide accessible healthcare and specialised medical services to residents of remote areas.
The camp received an overwhelming response, with 2,130 patients registered over the two days. A team of medical specialists and healthcare professionals provided comprehensive medical services in general medicine, paediatrics, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dental care, cardiac screening, respiratory care and ENT.
