UDHAMPUR, Feb. 28 -- An impressive valedictory function was organized at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur to mark the occasion of conclusion of essential course on "Women Safety". Deputy Director SKPAU, SSP Benam Tosh presided over the valediction ceremony, addressed the participants and distributed course certificates.
A total of 24 police officers from various districts & wings of J&K upto the rank of Inspector including twelve female officers participated in the five-day training programme which was sponsored by Bureau of Police Research & Development, New Delhi with the objective to train the police officers to ensure safety of women in their areas of responsibility by sternly dealing with crime against women.
