Jammu, April 29 -- In a major boost to connectivity and tourism in Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu Division of the Northern Railway is set to launch the inaugural Vande Bharat special train service between Jammu and Srinagar on April 30.
The inaugural service, Train No. 02601, will mark the introduction of the semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express on this strategically significant route, enhancing seamless travel across the region's challenging terrain.
