Srinagar, July 6 -- The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir has dismissed the (LPA) filed by Sanjay Saraf, upholding the earlier judgment that the dispute relating to the representation and voting rights of Whites Cricket Club is a private dispute and is not maintainable under Article 226 of the Constitution. The judgment reinforces that the controversy is essentially a private dispute and cannot be pursued through a writ petition.It may be recalled that Sanjay Saraf, a leader of the Lok Janshakti Party, had recently attempted to enter the JKCA office accompanied by his PSOs and allegedly issued threats.
