UDHAMPUR, Sept. 18 -- To bring specialized veterinary healthcare to remote areas, the Animal Husbandry Department Udhampur organized a comprehensive clinical-cum-awareness camp via its Mobile Veterinary Unit (MVU) at the far-off village of Jangle Gali in Ladda Panchayat at an altitude of about 2200 M in Tehsil Moungri, located nearly 52 kilometers from the District Headquarters.
The 4th such camp in the third phase of special outreach programme of the Department witnessed an overwhelming response, with approximately 240 livestock farmers actively participating.
Livestock were provided on-the-spot clinical diagnosis and treatment, along with free distribution of essential medicines to the attending farmers.
