SHIMLA, June 10 -- The Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Kavinder Gupta, who also serves as President of the Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society, today inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp and Free Dental Health Check-up Camp organized by the State Red Cross Society in Shimla. Addressing blood donors, volunteers, medical professionals and citizens present on the occasion, the Governor described voluntary blood donation as one of the noblest acts of public service, emphasizing that blood is a priceless gift that cannot be manufactured in any laboratory.
