VIJAYPUR, Feb. 26 -- Government Degree College Vijaypur organized an insightful lecture on the theme Youth Parliament "50 Years of Emergency" to reflect upon one of the most significant periods in India's democratic history.
The lecture was delivered by Lecturer Indu Bala ( Department of Political Sciences), who provided a comprehensive overview of the historical context, constitutional implications, and long-term impact of the Emergency declared in 1975. The session highlighted the importance of safeguarding democratic values, constitutional rights, and civil liberties.
