THANNAMANDI, March 30 -- The week-long series of events organized to commemorate 150 years of the National Song "Vande Mataram" concluded today at Government Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi with the creation of a vibrant and meaningful "Tribute Wall" on the college campus.
The celebrations were conducted under the able guidance of the Principal, Dr. Shamim Ahmed Azad, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty throughout the week. A variety of activities including poster making, cultural programmes, patriotic poetry recitation, and mass singing of "Vande Mataram" were organized to highlight the historical and cultural significance of the national song.
