AKHNOOR, Aug. 22 -- Under Project AAROHI, a Free Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Initiative exclusively for women was successfully organized at PHC Sungal, Block Akhnoor.
The initiative was supported by the General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) and implemented by the Human Organisation for Patronisation of Environment (HOPE) with the objective of promoting awareness and early detection of breast and cervical cancer among women.
A comprehensive awareness session was conducted by Dr. Divya Malhotra, along with the PHC staff and ASHA workers.
