JAMMU, Sept. 25 -- FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh today flagged off a first-ever women-led Electric Vehicle (EV) Rally from the TRC Complex, Jammu, with the participation of 22 women across 10 electric cars.
The rally was flagged off by Mr. Arun Manhas, Director, Industries & Commerce, Jammu, and Mr. Aijaz Qaiser Malik, Joint Director, Tourism, Jammu, in the presence of members of FICCI FLO JKL and other stakeholders.
The rally is being organised with the objective of promoting sustainable tourism in Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the potential of electric mobility in a UT that is ecologically sensitive and where tourism is a major contributor to the economy.
