Festive travel made easy: Special trains to run between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, trips also extended

JAMMU, Oct. 13 -- Keeping in view the heavy rush of passengers and their convenience during the upcoming festival season 2026, Northern Railway has taken a major decision to run special reserved festival special trains and extend the periodicity of existing trains on the New Delhi - Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - New Delhi route.

For the convenience of passengers, the first festival special train No. 04085/04086 will be operated for 2 trips. Train No. 04085 from New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will depart on 15.10.2026 and 17.10.2026 at 14:00 hrs and will reach Katra at 03:00 hrs early next day.
