Jammu Apr 19, April 21 -- In a significant move aimed at strengthening regulatory and intensifying enforcement activities, the Excise Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir convened a review meeting of the Jammu Division of the Excise Department on April 18, 2026. The Excise Commissioner evaluated the department's performance, identified operational gaps and outlined a forward-looking strategy to enhance enforcement activities against illicit distillation and public awareness against illi effects of drug abuse.
