BUDGAM, May 14 -- Er. Nazir Yatoo met DC Budgam Athar Aamir Khan (IAS) and raised the issues concerning Model Village Darwan in Charar-i-Sharief. Despite being declared a model village, Darwan still lacks basic facilities, the school is functioning from a private building, the hospital is also operating from a private building, and the roads, which were macadamised only last year, are already in a dilapidated condition. There is no proper sanitation, no drainage system, and nothing on the ground reflects the status of a "Model Village."
