JAMMU, Sept. 23 -- BJP Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana today inaugurated the Automatic Milk Collection Unit (AMCU) and Bulk Milk Cooler (BMC) Unit established under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) of the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) at Village Channi Mowalian, Makwal Marh, Jammu.
The unit, established with the support of the Animal Husbandry Department, is aimed at strengthening local dairy infrastructure by facilitating efficient milk collection, quality assessment and milk cooling. The initiative will help strengthen dairy-based livelihoods and create better opportunities for farmers and rural households.
