Srinagar, May 5 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch J&K has intensified its crackdown on recruitment fraud by conducting searches in connection with FIR No. 19/2017 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, and 471 RPC of Police Station Crime Branch Kashmir (now EOW Kashmir), and arresting a habitual offender involved in the case.
The arrested accused has been identified as Shahnawaz Ahmad Mir, a Senior Assistant in the Health Department and a resident of Tankipora Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar. He has been taken into custody for his alleged involvement in the health educator recruitment scam.
