JAMMU, Feb. 20 -- A group of 30 B.Sc. Biotechnology 4th semester students, accompanied by one PhD scholar and two faculty members from the School of Biotechnology (SoBT), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, undertook an educational visit to the Salal Power Project in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir. Situated on the Chenab River amidst picturesque mountains, the Salal Power Project offered students a unique opportunity to witness large-scale hydroelectric power generation in a serene natural setting.
