SAMBA, May 6 -- The cultivation of Dragon fruit is gaining impetus in Samba district, thanks to the support services being provided to the farmers under the Government Schemes.
The observations were made by a team of officers led by Director Horticulture Jammu (DHC) Gul Sayed during their visit to villages of Salmeri and Dhamore in Vijaypur Zone.
The Director, along with District Level Subject Matter Specialist Samba Raivati Raman Sharma and HDO Dr. Manmohan Lal, visited the area and inspected dragon fruit orchards established by the farmers by availing support services being provided by the government under different schemes.
