SRINAGAR, April 17 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah Friday made an appeal to the Government of India urging due consideration for permitting incarcerated MP Er. Rashid to attend to his ailing father on compelling humanitarian grounds.
The appeal arises from the critical medical condition of his father, Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, who is presently undergoing intensive treatment at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. Dr. Farooq has emphasised that the circumstances warrant urgent and compassionate consideration by the competent authorities.
