SRINAGAR, July 23 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Hon'ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday paid rich tributes to veteran political leader and former Minister, late Ghulam Nabi Wani Sogami, on his 45th death anniversary.
Remembering late Sogami's immense contribution to public life, the duo described him as a selfless leader, an able administrator and a committed public servant who dedicated his life to the welfare of the people. They recalled his humility, integrity and close bond with the masses, particularly the people of Kupwara and Lolab. They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and the highest place in Jannat.
