SRINAGAR, Sept. 18 -- Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi today visited the revered Dargah-e-Faiz Panah Mir Syed Taj-ud-Din Hamdani (RA) at Nowhatta, Srinagar, paid obeisance at the shrine and formally took over its administrative and management control on behalf of the J&K Waqf Board. Dr Andrabi was accompanied by Waqf Board Member Mohammad Syed Haqqani, Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin, Executive Magistrate & Tehsildar of J&K Waqf Board, and other senior officers of the Board. It is pertinent to mention that the shrine is a Waqf property duly notified by the Government.
