DODA, Aug. 31 -- Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, District Police Doda has taken preventive action against a habitual drug offender under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act, 1988, and lodged him in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu. The detenue has been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed, S/o Abdul Hameed, R/o Anwarabad, Doda.
He has previously been involved in two NDPS cases registered at Police Station Doda-FIR No. 263/2022 and FIR No. 237/2025, both under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act.
