DODA, Feb. 20 -- Doda Police have arrested the accused involved in a rape case of a minor girl registered at Police Station Doda.
On 19/02/2026, Police Station Doda received a written complaint from one Ravinder Ray, R/o Goriyar Purab, Adivasi Rupauli (Bihar), alleging that his 16-year-old daughter had been forcefully raped by one Umesh Singh S/o Suresh Pasi, R/o Maurawan, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh at his rented accommodation in New Bus stand Doda.
Accordingly, FIR No. 36/2026 was registered under Section 64 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 3/4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at Police Station Doda.
