ANANTNAG, Aug. 13 -- District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Anantnag, under the guidance of the Chairman, Tahir Khurshid Raina, inaugurated a Volleyball Tournament for the inmates of District Jail Anantnag in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Anantnag. The tournament was aimed at promoting sportsmanship, physical fitness, discipline, team spirit and positive engagement among the jail inmates, besides providing them an opportunity for recreation and healthy interaction. The tournament was kick-started by the Secretary, DLSA Anantnag Mir Sayeem Qayoom, in the presence of the Jail Superintendent , officials of the Department of Youth Services and Sports, DLSA staff, PLVs and participating inmates.
