KISHTWAR, Aug. 31 -- Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting of the District-Level Narco Coordination Centre (NCORD) to review the preventive, rehabilitative and enforcement measures being undertaken by the stakeholder departments to curb drug abuse and illicit trafficking in the district.
At the outset, District Social Welfare Officer Tariq Parveaz Qazi presented the Action Taken Report (ATR) on the decisions taken in the previous NCORD meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the district heads of line departments to ensure the active participation of designated resource persons and officials in the IEC campaign under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan every Monday.
