Srinagar, Aug. 20 -- Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday asked the officers to ensure that the upcoming Kounsarnag Yatra in South Kashmir passes off smoothly.
While chairing a security review meeting at Police Control Room Kashmir to review the security arrangements for the annual Kounsarnag Yatra, DGP Prabhat directed the officers to maintain a high level of preparedness, strengthen security arrangements along the Yatra routes, and ensure close coordination and seamless communication among all stakeholders.
He reviewed various security-related aspects and stressed the need for enhanced coordination among all concerned agencies to ensure comprehensive security and effective management of the pilgrimage.
