UDHAMPUR, July 2 -- Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today inaugurated the district-wide Foot and Mouth Disease Vaccination Campaign under the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) at the District Veterinary Hospital, Udhampur.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the Animal Husbandry Department's efforts in implementing NADCP and highlighted the importance of timely vaccination in preventing Foot and Mouth Disease, one of the most contagious diseases affecting livestock, noting that effective disease prevention is essential for improving livestock productivity and farmers' economic well-being.
