BANDIPORA, June 29 -- Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, Monday chaired a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee (DRSC) at the Mini Secretariat here, pressing departments for stricter accountability and time-bound action on pending road safety directives.
Reviewing the status of Action Taken Reports (ATRs) from concerned departments, the DC underscored the need for closer inter-departmental coordination and directed all line departments to ensure prompt implementation of road safety measures to reduce accidents and protect commuters.
