Jammu, Sept. 8 -- In a case that lands as a stinging irony for Jammu and Kashmir Police just as it wraps up its high-profile 100-day Nasha Mukti Abhiyan, a Police Sub-Inspector posted in Kathua district has himself been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act - accused of being under the influence of an intoxicating substance while on duty inside a police station.
The officer, identified as PSI Amjid Khan (GEC No. 245791), was allegedly seen behaving in a manner that raised suspicions of substance consumption at the police station premises.
