Jammu, May 31 -- Amid escalating infighting within the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Congress and growing differences over the party's alliance with the ruling National Conference (NC), the Congress high command has summoned senior party leaders from the Union Territory to New Delhi for discussions aimed at resolving the crisis.

Highly placed sources said the meeting is likely to be held after the swearing-in of the newly appointed Chief Minister of Karnataka.
