Lucknow, March 1 -- The CM Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has presented a strong national example by working decisively toward child nutrition. In accordance with the guidelines of "Poshan 2.0," fresh hot cooked meals are being provided to children in the 3 to 6 years age group attending Anganwadi centres across the state. Under this arrangement, nearly 3.6 million children are receiving hot meals.
This initiative goes beyond mere food distribution and is integrated with a comprehensive strategy for early childhood care and development. The government has ensured that every eligible child receives regular, balanced, and warm meals to effectively curb malnutrition.
